HIGHLAND LAKES AGGIE MOM CLUB

MINUTES OF REGULAR AGGIE MOM MEETING May 6, 2021

  1. The May meeting of the Highland Lakes Aggie Mom’s Club was held at Enoteca in Marble Falls and was called to order by Judy Miller at 6:19pm. She warmly welcomed all those in attendance. Present were Judy Miller and her daughter, Brooke, Reene Bradshaw, Dani Hodge, Julia Adams who brought a guest (Susie), Barbara Walker, Lori Pool, Chrystal Whiteside, and Bonnie Wallace.
  2. Barbara gave a brief Treasurer’s Report and advised that current balance, before Squarespace purchases through April 30, was $5,042.14.
  3. The March minutes were read aloud by Bonnie. There were no corrections.
  4. Old Business
    1. Judy advised that only a few items had been sold through Aggie

      Boutique but that raffle ticket sales had been brisk. Raffle drawing will be on Monday, May 31st.

    2. Judy gave an update on Jacob and agreed to send out information on the Meal Train for Jacob once again via email. Reene advised that quite a few folks at Muster took pictures of Jacob’s information and said they would mail him a card or two.
  5. New Business

a. Officers for the 2021-2022 year will be Jennifer Lindner and Julia

Adams as Co-Presidents, Reene Bradshaw as Vice President, Judy Miller as Treasurer and Bonnie Wallace as Secretary. Reene presented Judy with some gifts for serving as President. All present applauded both the outgoing board members and incoming board members. A meeting for the new slate of officers will be held on June 3 to plan and coordinate dates, times and locations for 2021-2022 meetings.

b. There was discussion on the Class of 2025 Aggies and how to connect with them. Julia will spearhead gifts for 20 and we will coordinate how to get gifts to incoming Aggies. We have been advised of 8 from Burnet, 4-5 from Llano and 4-6 from Marble Falls. Reene will contact Faith Academy to inquire if they have any graduates who will attend A&M in the fall.

VI. Adjournment
With no additional business, Judy adjourned the meeting at 6:59pm.
