  5. New Business

a. Boutique

Boutique has been scheduled for April 8 & 9, which our club will designate as tax free days. We have never before attended Boutique in person but have participated online for last 2 years. Judy, Reene & Michelle will run Boutique and have paid for 2 tables. One each for the raffle and the merchandise we have previously crafted.

  1. Proposed Bylaws Amendment Changes
Reene advised that our Club’s bylaws have not been amended since 2016 and presented proposed bylaws amendments and there was discussion concerning the various changes. These changes will be voted on at the April meeting.
  2. Goody Bags
Jennifer and Julia presented a sample Goody Bag for the Spring finals along with the order form. Deadline to order is April 7 and bags will be stuffed at the April 14th meeting. Cost is $40 per bag.
  3. Standing Rule for $250
Reene explained that many organizations utilize a standing rule for expenditures of $250 or less, authorizing the executive board to approve expenditures up to this amount without membership approval. After discussion, Bonnie moved to implement a standing rule of $250; Judy seconded the motion and all present voted to approve the motion and it carried.
  4. Website Update
Reene notified all present that the Club website is in need of updating. No one in the club is able or willing so she recommends an Aggie friend who can do it for $250. All present voted to approve this expenditure, and Reene will move forward with the update.
  5. New Members 2022-2023
Reene contacted the Federation for a list of Aggie parents in our region and was given a list of over 160 names. She proposed creating a postcard, at a cost of approximately $200, to send to each family and invite them to join our Club. All present voted to approve this expenditure, and Reene will move forward with this project.
  1. Traditions
Julia informed us all about the tradition of Elephant Walk, which is the Senior’s walk around campus with their arms linked and a tribute to their last year on campus.
  2. Aggie Brags/Aggie Moments
Reene suggested adding Aggie Moments into Aggie Brags, to include Moms who are needing prayers or commiseration during difficult times.

VIII. Adjournment
After discussion, it was decided that the April meeting would be held a week later than normal due to Boutique. Therefore the next meeting will be on April 14th at Elements in Marble Falls. Julia adjourned the meeting at 8:05pm.

Respectfully Submitted, Bonnie N. Wallace
