Highland Lakes Aggie Mom’s Club General Meeting Minutes January 20, 2022

Call to Order: Julia Adams, Co-President called the meeting to order at 6:33 pm, with the following in attendance:
Julia Adams, Co-President Reene Bradshaw, Vice-President Judy Miller, Treasurer

Lori Pool
Chrystal Whiteside
Approval of minutes from October, November, December-Approved
Judy Miller made a motion to approve all minutes and Reene Bradshaw seconded
the motion.
Treasurer’s Report: Judy Miller gave the treasurer’s report, which stated that the register balance is $9549.14.
Old Business:
Goody Bage report: Our club handed out 36 bags. Students were very appreciative and took pictures with the frame.
New Business:
1. Quilt reimbursement
Shelly made a motion that we reimburse Judy Miller $175 for the quilt square. Lori seconded the motion. Motion passed
2. Book Awards- 14 forms were turned in for consideration. The club awarded 6 book awards to the following:
Molly Linder
William Bradshaw
Regan Licciardello
Isaiah Denney
Ethan Hannaman
Braidon Whiteside
3. Potential Donations: Judy Miller presented information from three Aggie groups who are seeking donations: Car Pool, TAMU SlOT Finance, and FLARE. Reene made a motion that the club donates $150 to Car Pool and $100 to SLOT. Lori seconded the motion. Motion Passed
4. Spring Goody Bag: Jennifer and Julia will coordinate good bags and distribution day will be April 27.
5. Spring Boutique
A discussion was had in regards to if the club wants to participate in the Spring Boutique which will be held Parent’s Weekend, April 8-9, 2022. The club still has signs that could be sold and the club could hold another raffle. Julia will send out an email asking for someone to coordinate and lead this. The final discussion and vote will take place at the next meeting.
6. Future Aggies
A discussion was held in regards to how to reach future aggies that will be starting next fall. Chrystal Whiteside will coordinate with Marble Falls High School. Julia will reach out to find someone to help coordinate with Burnet High School and Llano High School.
7. Traditions: Reene shared a short description of how the Gig’em originated.
Future Meetings
February 5-social gathering at Reene Bradshaws which will include husbands. March 3- Llano
April 7- Marble Falls: Moms and Margaritas and goody bag assemble
